  Enhanced labour market access and capacity building of communities through the integration of national youth volunteerism including disabled and marginalized groups.
  Conceptualized an “Integrated Youth Volunteerism, Peace-building, Social Service Delivery, Environmental Management, and Community Resilience Programme” for Afghanistan.
  Managed over 300 UN Volunteers and developed a Field Office Result Management and Financial Reporting Mechanism.

- Climate Change Adaptation
1. FAO – Provided programme development support to the Government of Sierra Leone Environment Protection Agency-EPA/SL. August 2020 – February 2021

  Led the formulation of Sierra Leone’s medium and long-term multi-sectoral Climate Resilient Readiness Process to access US$ 3 Million Green Climate Fund-GCF promoting the integration of Climate Change Action into development planning processes and strategies.

  Prepared the National Adaptation Plan-NAP Readiness Proposal, Budget, and Procurement, and Implementation Plans aligned with Sierra Leone Environment Protection Agency’s-EPA/SL’s, and FAO’s priorities.

  Reviewed key priority economic sectors activities to ensure coherence with other Climate Change Adaptation Plans to avoid duplication.

  Facilitated working sessions with stakeholders in identifying activities and institutional gaps and barriers for the implementation of the National Adaptation Plan-NAP on climate change.

  Coordinated synergies with other multilateral environment agreements and present the GCF Proposal for validation to FAO Technical Teams based in Freetown, Accra, and Rome and the Management of Sierra Leone’s Environment Protection Agency (EPA-SL).

2. GIZ Energizing Development-EnDev – Supported the Ministry of the Environment in Sierra Leone. May 2020 – November 2020

  Conducted desk research data on deforestation and reforestation activities and encroachments in the remaining forest reserve of Freetown peninsula.

  Reviewed policies and programmes on deforestation, biodiversity loss, and biomass energy use and effects on people and the environment. Identified policies, programme interventions and stakeholders to develop a cohesive carbon emission response and REDD+ strategy for the Freetown Peninsular forest reserve.

4. UNEP – Provided Ocean Governance technical assistance to UNEP-Abidjan Convention Secretariat supporting coastal countries in West, Central and Southern Africa. August 2015 – February 2016
  Mobilized funds and coordinated with plethora of partners (USAID/WABiCC Programme, UNEP Global Programme of Action, GRID-Arendal, SPAW-RAC, Sargasso Sea Commission, and the Environment Protection Agency of Sierra Leone) in convening the First Regional Expert Meeting on Sargassum Seaweed Infestation in West Africa.
  Contributed to formulation of a Programme Document entitled “Strengthening Regional Ocean Governance for High Seas” geared towards managing Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction and providing ocean governance support mechanism.
  Developed a proposal for the Second UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-2) “Seaweeds: Challenges and Sustainable Inclusive Green Jobs Opportunities for Youth” in coastal countries in West, Central and Southern Africa.

  Conducted Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EISA) on renewable energy (MiniGrid, and Off Grid, and developed Action Plan on access to clean energy replacing the use of biomass fuel (firewood, charcoal etc.).

  Led end-to-end preparation and coordination between the Mano River Union-MRU Secretariat, Ministries of Energy, The Energy Nexus Network-TENN, USAID-Power Africa, ECREEE, World Future Council, Hivos, Tony Blair Institute, EnDev, and Africa Clean Energy Technical Assistance Facility (ACE-TAF) in convening a Multi-Stakeholder Renewable Energy and Clean Cooking Conference for the Mano River Union (MRU) countries.
  Coordinated efforts of Ministries of Energy, and Environment, Renewable Energy Associations, Rural Electrification Agencies in Member State of the MRU Sub-region, and the SDG-7 Technical Advisory Group for the implementation of the UNSG Climate Summit Declaration with emphasis on Sustainable Energy Investment.
  Developed Action Plan on access to affordable, reliable, safe and sustainable energy development and clean cooking using renewable energy sources for improved cookstove, in place of biomass fuel (firewood, charcoal etc.) or fossil fuel (Liquefied Petroleum Gas-LPG, natural gas, coal etc.).
  Participated in study visits promoting the use of integrated renewable energy (ecosystem approach) to reduce Household Air Pollution-HAP and ensure environmental sustainability in the face of climate change.
  Drafted Terms of References, and coordinated resource mobilization for the implementation of these instruments:

- Legislative Instrument on Renewable Energy, including transitional energy investment and finance mechanism

2. DFID – Provide technical assistance to Africa Clean Energy Technical Assistance Facility (ACE/TAF) supporting the Government of Sierra Leone, Ministry of Energy. June 2020 – November 2020
  Reviewed and harmonized existing Energy Policies, Strategies, and Action Plans, especially those relevant to Off-Grid renewable energy and energy efficiency interventions namely Stand Alone Solar Systems Solar and Home Systems.
  Conducted baseline study and stakeholder mapping to determine the current spread and engagement and players in the energy sector.
  Formulated an Off-Grid Energy Strategy and Monitoring Mechanism.

3. GIZ Energizing Development-EnDev – Supported the Government of Sierra Leone, Ministry of the Environment. May 2020 – November 2020
  Incubated innovative pro-poor alternative energy options for households and rural communities depending on biomass fuel.
  Coordinated effort between EnDev, the Ministry of Energy, Renewable Energy Association of Sierra Leone-REASL, private enterprises (including gas and petroleum companies) and other relevant actors on clean cooking options.
  Spearheaded project formulation and stakeholder management on improving markets for energy products and services, including the production and sale of improved cooking options and improved biomass fuel production.
  Contributed in defining programme activities and advocacy campaigns on environmentally friendlier energy sources, which resulted in the establishment of the Sierra Leone Clean Cooking Alliance-CCASL.
  Reviewed policies and programmes on deforestation, biodiversity loss, and biomass energy use and effects on the environment and people’s wellbeing. The outcome of this exercise resulted in identifying policies, programme interventions and stakeholders to develop a cohesive carbon emission and REDD+ strategy for the Freetown Peninsular forest reserve.
  Conducted studies and reviewed existing policy documents on Biomass Energy and its effect on water resource management, health, and the environment. A Policy Brief was developed to inform policy decision making on the depletion of the Freetown Peninsula forest reserve and effects on water, climate, and health.
  Identified short and longer-term external cost for a path on biomass use in Freetown peninsula, including effects on waste management, tourism to advise EnDev Technical Working Group and Energy and Environment.

4. UNEP – Provided Ocean Governance technical assistance to UNEP-Abidjan Convention Secretariat supporting coastal countries in West, Central and Southern Africa regions. August 2015 – February 2016
  Developed a Regional Strategy on “Green Energy Solution” defining transformative use of Sargassum seaweed into alternative source of energy (ethanol) and briquette to improve clean cooking options.

CordAid – Provided “Resilient Business Development Services (RBDS)” to the 4th Cohort of SMEs in Sierra Leone, by conducted integrated capacity training and coaching on basic concept of Bookkeeping, Financial Management, value of Financial Data Analysis, Access to Information and Finance. The aim of this SME incubation capacity building support was to prepare enterprises to become investment ready/worthy. August – September 2019

4. Mena’s Mini Mart Women-in-Fish Agribusiness (SME) – Formulated a Project Proposal; Business Plan; Financial Model; Human Resource Manual; Waste Mgmt. Policy; and Gender Policy for SME in Sierra Leone to access funding worth US$ 950,200.00 from Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund-AECF. October 2018 – April 2019

 Agribusiness Promotion

1. FAO – Facilitated regional coordination support and technical assistance to East African Community-EAC Secretariat in the implementation of a Technical Corporation Project entitled “Promoting Youth Employment in the Agricultural Sector in East Africa” benefiting Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. September 2017 – September 2018
  Led technical coordination and served as liaison between FAO, EAC-Secretariat, and Partners States on employment promotion in agriculture.
  Designed a Modus Operandi defining the Parameter for Assessing “Best Practices”, Methodology, and Selection Criteria for “Documenting Youth/Women Agribusiness Models” for EAC Partner States.
  Conducted fact-finding scoping missions across EAC Partner States, which culminated in defining challenges, policy incentives, investment opportunities, and set of recommendations for online agribusiness promotion. 
  Developed a framework for setting-up Regional Database and Digital Clearing House Mechanism to facilitate farmers and private actors share information on agriculture/agribusiness opportunities.
  Compiled a Report on Best Youth Agribusiness Models and facilitated validation workshops across EAC Partner States. Drafted a Regional Strategy for Youth Employment Programme in Agriculture.
  Established partnership between FAO Subregional Office for Eastern Africa and Songhai Regional Center. Conducted Labour market surveys and formulated partnership documents for an Incubation Training in “Agribusiness and Sustainable Agroecological Practices” held at Songhaï Regional Center. In addition, I supported 18 EAC Youth Champions-in-Agriculture in developing Business Plans to access Grant Scheme Award by FAO and EAC Secretariat.
  Strengthened partnerships with multiple-stakeholders working on regional employment promotion and liaised between FAO, the African Union (AU) “Five Year Priority Programme (5YPP) on Employment, Poverty Eradication and Inclusive Development”, African Development Bank (AfDB) “Enable Youth Programme”, and the African Agribusiness Incubator Network (AAIN) to scale-up investment on youth and women-in-agriculture.
  Facilitated the recruitment of National Consultants, developed Work-Plan, managed Project Budget, and developed a Conceptual Framework to establish a Regional Database for Youth and Women-in-Agriculture.

2. UNIDO – Coordinated the implementation of the Mano River Union-MRU Secretariat Sub-Regional Programme “Productive and Decent Jobs for Youth in the MRU Countries” focusing on boarder communities Kailahun and Koindu in Sierra Leone, and Ganta in Liberia. November 2008 – January 2010
